Deadpool Marketing





Overall, as a group we decided that the leaked footage was the most valuable marketing technique of all as it was the primary technique that contributed to the process of producing the film.

Secondly, social media as a whole, we thought, was extremely important in promoting the film as it was used so originally (e.g Deadpool on Tinder). It also brings fans closer to the character of Deadpool, almost bringing him to life.

Thirdly, YouTube had a big part to play in the promotion of Deadpool through use of adverts/trailers as well as Vlogs. This kept fans up to date with the production of Deadpool as they were so accessible to everyone.
